Yea I agree with you on the Xbox and ps4. I was disappointed by both.
At least this wont change my opinion in their companies, which is that they really don’t get it in the way they should to meet our demand.
Actually I forgot about the “Ouya” which is a independently made videogame console that runs open source. And it’s super cheap at least when the kickstarter was running. May look into getting one of these to dink around on. Then that way all 3 big guys can lick my balls. As the Ouya has Steam support. And steam well they have pretty much everything.

That’s how bad you have to screw up that would make me go nope Nintendo actually is the best option game wise. Most developers are at the point where they release on all platforms. And the Nintendo exclusives cater to me and my childhood way better. (LoZ ftw!)
The Xbox the worst part is that all they really did was go yeah we made a mistake on the last one not able to be backwards compatible we had 7 years to correct that with the new One and yeah we chose not to bother. So you are marketing an all in one Entertainment solution and yet I can’t play my current games. I have to hope they get rereleased on the One. Um…. Fuck You! Oh and you have to have it connect to internet at least once a day. Thanks for eating my data. Hardware wise oh look a mild RAM jump and an even milder Graphics card jump. So what consumers are going to be doing is paying double to triple the cost of a Xbox360 for about 1/10th hardware upgrade. And look another new controller.
Sony at least has kept things simpler. Same controller an actual hardware upgrade but once again no backwards compatiblity. So once again you have to keep your PS3. At least the hardware makes the PS4 look better and they have used the same interface more or less for years now across all there platforms; Blu-Ray, PS3, and Vita.
The Wii U while I initially laughed at it shows that Nintendo actually is doing something correct. They are making a Gaming console first and making it work as a full entertainment device second. Whereas Sony and MS have chosen to go the exact opposite route videogames after entertainment/ multimedia. Also the Wii U at least has a cool looking controller. If that controller was lighter it would be a fast buy for me. But sadly this system still lacks the same hardware that is on the other 2. Which is why some developers shy away from it. As they want to break new ground be the first to push the bounds of gaming.
The first Mass Effect saga is over. I love LoZ and I don’t play FPS, Halo being the exception. So for myself if I decide to go next gen I will probably spring for the Wii U.

WELL GOLLY GEE DO YOU THINK SO? Because saying that all white people are responsible for the Atlantic slave trade sounds pretty racist to me, given that, you know, that was between the African slaveholders and the British and Americans and had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with my ancestors, who were incredibly poor farmers and serfs from Ireland and Lithuania who had to flee to America at around the turn of the century (by which time slavery had already been abolished in the US) because they were being treated like slaves. Even if they had been living in America at the time when slavery was legal they wouldn’t have been able to afford a slave; in fact they probably would have been working with them in the fields and treated about the same, since the first slaves in America were actually white serfs. But please, tell me more about how dirty my hands are because of circumstances surrounding my birth that I could not control and continue to treat me differently based on the color of my skin without actually knowing anything about my heritage, I’m sure that isn’t racist at all!
